Be certain that we take every press kit we receive into consideration and try to place every performer that is appropriate onto bills that suit them. This can mean that it takes a while to get into the rotation and that once you've performed, it can take a long time for your turn to come again. With that being said, chose your opportunities wisely.  
If you are offered a show but aren't sure if it's necessarily right for you, pass on the offer and wait for a show with the appropriate target audience.   Obese only does 3-8 hip hop shows a month, which means that there are only a few slots available for the multitude of local acts and those touring through Seattle. 3. Burned Cd's/CDR's are not acceptable. Obese brings out some of the biggest acts in the industry.   Therefore if you expect to share the stage with Legends, you must look & play the part.
